Cancellation Policy

At Sunrise Ocean View, we are dedicated to ensuring transparency and flexibility for every guest. All bookings for our properties are processed exclusively through Booking.com, and our cancellation policy has been designed to be clear and straightforward. By submitting a booking request, guests acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this policy, which are displayed on each property’s Booking.com listing and further detailed in our Rental Agreement.


Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policies

1. Standard Rate

Payment Policy

  • No advance payment required: No payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Deposit: A deposit equal to the first night’s stay is automatically charged 5 days before check-in.
  • Balance: The remaining balance is charged on the check-in date.

Cancellation Policy

  • Free cancellation: Available up to 5 days before check-in.
  • Late cancellation: If canceled within 5 days of check-in, a cancellation fee equal to one night’s stay will apply.

Refund Policy

  • Refund eligibility: Refunds are applicable only when cancellation occurs at least 5 days before check-in.
  • Processing time: Refunds are processed by Sunrise Ocean View LLC within 1–3 business days after approval.
  • Bank timelines: Refunded amounts typically appear in the guest’s account within up to 5 business days, depending on the bank.
  • Non-refundable period: If canceled within 5 days of check-in, the first-night deposit is non-refundable.

Bookings Made Within 30 Days of Check-In

  • Deposit timing: The deposit is charged 5 days before check-in, or immediately at booking if reserved within 5 days of arrival.
  • Immediate non-refundable deposit: For bookings made within 5 days of check-in, the deposit becomes non-refundable once charged.
  • Balance charge: Remaining balance is charged on the check-in date.

2. Promotional Rate

Payment Policy

  • Discount: Guests receive up to 15% off the Standard Rate.
  • Deposit: A deposit equal to the first night’s stay is required within 30 days before check-in.
  • Balance: Remaining balance is charged on the check-in date.

Cancellation Policy

  • Free cancellation: Available up to 5 days before check-in.
  • Late cancellation: If canceled within 5 days of check-in, a fee equal to one night’s stay will apply.

Refund Policy

  • Eligibility: Refunds are available only for cancellations made at least 5 days before check-in.
  • Processing: Sunrise Ocean View LLC processes refunds within 1–3 business days after approval.
  • Bank timelines: Funds typically appear in the guest’s account within up to 5 business days.
  • Non-refundable period: Cancellations within 5 days of check-in result in the first-night deposit being non-refundable.

3. Special Savings Rate

Payment Policy

  • Discount: Guests receive up to 35% off the Standard Rate.
  • Full payment: Required within 30 days before check-in to confirm the reservation.

Cancellation Policy

  • Free cancellation: Available up to 5 days before check-in.
  • Non-refundable period: Cancellations made within 5 days of check-in are non-refundable.

Refund Policy

  • Eligibility: Refunds apply only when cancellation occurs at least 5 days before check-in.
  • Processing: Refunds are processed by Sunrise Ocean View LLC within 1–3 business days.
  • Bank timelines: Funds typically reach the guest within up to 5 business days.
  • Non-refundable period: Cancellations within 5 days of check-in are non-refundable.
  • Courtesy change: One-time date change may be offered based on availability. No refunds issued.

Bookings Made Within 30 Days of Check-In

  • Immediate full payment: Full payment is charged at the time of booking.
  • Non-refundable payments: For bookings within 5 days of check-in, all payments are non-refundable.
  • Date changes: Courtesy date changes may be offered depending on availability.

Important Notice

Please review all payment, cancellation, and refund terms displayed on the booking platform before confirming your reservation. By completing a booking, guests acknowledge and agree to all policies listed above.


Modifications to Reservations

More Than 5 Days Before Check-In

  • Guests may request changes to dates or property selections up to 5 days before check-in, subject to availability.
  • Any difference in rate will be charged or refunded accordingly.

5 Days or Less Before Check-In

  • Modification requests made within 5 days of arrival are subject to approval and may incur additional fees.

Early Departures and No-Shows

  • Early Departure: Guests who check out earlier than scheduled will not receive a refund for unused nights.
  • No-Show: Guests who do not arrive on the check-in date will be charged for the first night’s stay, and the remainder of the reservation will be canceled automatically.

Security Deposits

  • Certain properties require a refundable security deposit, which will be clearly stated on the property listing prior to booking.
  • Deposits are intended to cover potential damages or excessive cleaning.
  • Provided no issues are found, deposits are refunded within 1 to 3 business days after check-out to the original payment method.

Right to Cancel Reservations

Sunrise Ocean View LLC reserves the right to cancel any reservation under the following circumstances:

  • Violation of Policies: If a guest uses a property for unauthorized parties, gatherings, or any activity that violates company policies, the reservation may be canceled immediately without prior notice.
  • Fraudulent Activity: Reservations determined to be fraudulent or made using false or misleading information will be canceled immediately.
  • Force Majeure: In the event of force majeure, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control, Sunrise Ocean View may cancel the reservation. Any payments made will be either refunded or credited toward a future stay.

In all cases, guests will be notified promptly, and our team will make every effort to assist in arranging alternative accommodations when possible.


Payment Methods

Payment options, including credit card payments and bank transfers, are displayed at the time of booking. All credit card transactions comply with PCI security standards to ensure your information remains secure.


Additional Fees

  • Cleaning Fee: A $300 cleaning fee is added to the total booking amount to cover professional cleaning and property preparation.
  • Parking: Each property includes at least one complimentary parking space for guest convenience.

Complimentary Services

Guests staying with Sunrise Ocean View enjoy several complimentary services, including:

  • Free Wi-Fi: High-speed internet is available in all properties.
  • Seamless Property Access: Guests receive a personalized PIN code for entry five days before check-in.
  • Premium Amenities: Extra linens, pillows, and bathroom essentials are provided at no additional cost. Some properties also include access to swimming pools, fitness centers, and other exclusive facilities.

Property Viewings

As a short-term rental business, we prioritize the privacy and comfort of our guests. Therefore, property viewings before check-in are not offered.

To ensure guests make informed decisions, each listing provides:

  • High-quality photos
  • Detailed property descriptions
  • Guest reviews

If a guest insists on a pre-check-in viewing and does not agree to our terms, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and issue a full refund.


Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend that guests consider purchasing travel insurance to cover any unexpected changes to their plans.


Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, we encourage guests to first contact our customer service team for prompt resolution. Alternatively, disputes may be handled through the Booking.com Resolution Center.


Policy Updates

Please note that this cancellation policy may be updated periodically, and the version in effect at the time of booking will govern your reservation.
